Event Description:
The Lurleen B. Wallace Community College (LBWCC) Foundation and the City of Greenville are “Driving for Excellence in Education” by presenting the 15th annual Camellia City Classic Golf Tournament on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The tournament will be held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Cambrian Ridge in Greenville, Ala.
“Investing in a student’s educational opportunities is also an investment in the future,” said LBWCC Associate Dean of Institutional Advancement, Dr. Arlene Davis.
“We are proud to continue partnerships to enhance academic, technical training and grow future leaders.”
The four-man scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 1 PM. An individual may enter the tournament for $150, or a team may play for $600. Sponsorships are also available, and prizes will be awarded.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit scholarships, dual enrollment, student activities, and special projects of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.
The LBWCC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization supporting college programs and scholarships. The deadline to register for the Camellia City Classic is October 16.
